Promotions Terms for Lenders

Last updated: 17 October 2026

These terms apply when you, as a lender on Lenbrit, promote your outfits: putting them on sale, sending discount offers or coupons to interested borrowers, or running ads. They sit alongside the general terms you accepted when you joined.

Promotions should help borrowers find great outfits at a fair price. Every promotion must be honest, clearly priced, and honoured once a borrower books.

1. Sales

You can put any of your live outfits on sale from its listing page.

  • A sale is a percentage off your daily price, between 5% and 80%
  • A sale can have an end date up to 90 days ahead, or run until you end it
  • Outfits on sale appear in Special Offers on the borrower home and show the original price struck through
  • The sale price is what borrowers pay at checkout, and offers on the outfit are measured against the sale price

2. Platform Campaigns

Lenbrit runs platform-wide campaigns such as Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Eid and Independence Day, each with one discount between set dates.

  • You can join a campaign with the outfits you choose from Promotions, and take them out at any time before a borrower books
  • Lenbrit may add your outfits to a campaign. You are notified when this happens and can take them out from Promotions
  • While a campaign is live, outfits in it are charged at the campaign price. Like a sale, the discount reduces your rent
  • If an outfit is also on your own sale, the bigger of the two discounts applies; discounts never stack
  • Live campaigns lead the borrower home, with the campaign name shown on each outfit

3. Prices Are Locked Once a Borrower Books

  • The price is locked when a borrower opens checkout. Ending or changing a sale afterwards does not change that booking
  • The refundable deposit is a share of the rent the borrower pays, so it is lower while an outfit is on sale
  • Platform commission and VAT on commission are worked out on the rent actually paid (the sale price)
  • You may not cancel a confirmed booking because a sale price was lower than you intended

4. Discount Offers to Interested Borrowers

When this feature is available, you can send a discount offer on your outfit to borrowers who have shown interest in it:

  • Borrowers who saved the outfit to their favourites
  • Borrowers who added it to their cart
  • Borrowers who started checkout for it but did not finish

How offers are sent

  • Lenbrit delivers offers for you as an in-app notification. You never receive a borrower’s phone number, email or address for promotions
  • Offers are only sent about the outfit the borrower showed interest in, never your other listings
  • A borrower receives at most one offer per outfit in any 7-day period, and can turn off promotional messages at any time
  • Each offer states the discount, the outfit and when it expires. It must be honoured for its full stated period

5. Coupons

A coupon is a code that applies your discount at checkout.

  • A coupon applies only to your own outfits and is applied to the rent before platform fees and VAT
  • Only one coupon can be used per booking
  • A coupon does not combine with a sale or a platform campaign on the same outfit. The borrower is charged whichever price is lower
  • Coupons have an expiry date and may have a usage limit; once a coupon is used in a confirmed booking, its discount is final
  • The discount is funded by you: it reduces your rent, and commission is worked out on the discounted rent

6. Ads

When ads become available, you may pay to promote your outfits in more places on the borrower app. Ad pricing and billing will be shown before you start a campaign.

  • Ads are always labelled “Sponsored” so borrowers can tell them apart from regular results
  • Ads must use real photos of the outfit being rented and its real price
  • Lenbrit may decline, pause or remove any ad that breaks these terms, without a refund for the period it broke them

7. Not Allowed

  • Raising a price just before a sale to make the discount look bigger
  • Advertising a discount, size, condition or availability that is not real
  • Sending offers, coupons or ads to borrowers outside the app, or asking borrowers to pay you directly
  • Targeting or excluding borrowers based on gender, religion, ethnicity or any other protected characteristic
  • Using promotions to pressure borrowers, for example with false countdowns or fake scarcity

8. Enforcement

Lenbrit may end a sale, cancel an offer or coupon, or remove an ad that breaks these terms, and may limit your access to promotions. Bookings already confirmed at a promoted price are always honoured for the borrower.
