Rental Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 27 October 2026

Please read carefully before confirming your booking.

By placing a rental booking through LENBRIT, you (“Borrower”) agree to the following terms and conditions concerning the use, care, return, and protection of rented garments and accessories.

1. Accurate Information and Identity Verification

You agree to provide accurate personal, contact, identity, and delivery information when requested. LENBRIT may require phone and email verification, identity or address verification, and other reasonable checks before approving a booking or dispatching an item.

Providing false information, impersonating another person, or deliberately concealing relevant information may result in booking cancellation, account restrictions, recovery action, or referral to the relevant authorities where appropriate.

2. Security Deposit

A refundable security deposit may be required before an item is dispatched. The amount will be disclosed before you confirm the booking.

The deposit may be applied, to the extent permitted by applicable law and these terms, toward documented and substantiated losses arising from non-return, damage beyond normal wear and tear, missing accessories, or other agreed liabilities.

Any proposed deduction must be communicated to you with an explanation. You may raise a dispute through LENBRIT's support process. Any remaining refundable amount will be released in accordance with the applicable inspection, dispute, and refund policy.

The security deposit does not limit liability for a substantiated loss that exceeds the deposit, subject to applicable law.

3. Responsibility for the Garment

You are responsible for taking reasonable care of the rented garment and any accessories provided with it from confirmed delivery until it is handed back through the approved return process.

You must not sell, pledge, lend, transfer, alter, intentionally damage, or otherwise dispose of the rented item without the owner's written permission.

You must follow the agreed return instructions and must not remove or tamper with any identification tags or other security measures attached to the item.

4. Mandatory Return and Non-Return

You must return the garment and all included accessories by the specified return deadline using LENBRIT's approved return procedure.

If you anticipate a delay, you must notify LENBRIT promptly. Any extension must be approved and recorded by LENBRIT; simply notifying the platform does not automatically extend the deadline.

Failure to return the garment may result in:

  • Suspension of new bookings while the matter is investigated.
  • Retention of the relevant security deposit to the extent permitted by the agreed terms and applicable law.
  • A claim for substantiated replacement costs and other recoverable losses.
  • Formal notices and appropriate civil recovery proceedings.
  • A report to the relevant law-enforcement authorities where the circumstances reasonably indicate suspected criminal conduct.

If an item is lost, deliberately concealed, sold, or dishonestly retained, LENBRIT or the affected owner may pursue remedies available under applicable law.

5. Damage, Loss, and Missing Accessories

You must return the garment in substantially the same condition as received, allowing for ordinary and reasonable wear associated with the agreed rental.

You may be held responsible for substantiated damage beyond normal wear and tear, including burns, tears, permanent stains, missing embellishments, unauthorized alterations, or damage caused by improper handling.

Depending on the circumstances, the recoverable amount may include reasonable, evidenced repair or restoration costs, the value of missing accessories, or a substantiated replacement loss where repair is not reasonably possible. Any amount must be assessed fairly and in accordance with the agreement and applicable law; double recovery for the same loss is not permitted.

LENBRIT may request photographs, inspection records, repair estimates, invoices, or other relevant evidence before determining a claim.

You are not responsible for pre-existing damage or ordinary wear and tear documented in the condition record, except to the extent that additional damage is attributable to you.

6. Late Returns

If you fail to return the garment by the agreed deadline, LENBRIT may contact you and request immediate return. Any disclosed late fee or additional charge must comply with the booking terms and applicable law.

If the garment remains overdue, LENBRIT may restrict further bookings and initiate the documented recovery process. A late return alone does not automatically establish theft or another criminal offence.

7. Suspected Theft, Dishonest Retention, or Fraud — Pakistan Penal Code

You acknowledge that rented garments remain the property of their respective owners and that you are required to return them according to the agreed rental terms.

Where the facts and evidence support such action, suspected conduct may be referred to the relevant authorities for assessment under applicable provisions of the Pakistan Penal Code, 1860, including:

  • Sections 405 and 406 — Criminal breach of trust and its punishment: potentially relevant where the legal requirements for dishonest misappropriation or conversion of entrusted property are established.
  • Sections 415 and 420 — Cheating and dishonestly inducing delivery of property: potentially relevant where the required elements of cheating and dishonest inducement are established.
  • Sections 378 and 379 — Theft and its punishment: potentially relevant where the legal elements of theft are established.

The applicability of any provision depends on the circumstances and evidence. LENBRIT does not determine criminal guilt, and any criminal liability is for the competent authorities and courts to determine.

8. Inspection and Disputes

The garment may be inspected before dispatch and after return. You should report any visible pre-existing damage or missing accessories promptly after delivery and retain relevant photographs or other evidence.

If you dispute a damage assessment, late fee, or deposit deduction, you may submit your explanation and supporting evidence through LENBRIT's designated support channel. LENBRIT will review the available records and communicate its decision or next steps.

Any undisputed refundable amount will be processed according to the applicable refund policy and payment-provider procedures.

9. Authorization and Acknowledgment

By checking the acceptance box and confirming the booking, you acknowledge that:

  • You have read and understood these terms.
  • You agree to use and return the garment according to the booking details.
  • You understand the disclosed security deposit, return deadline, damage policy, and potential consequences of non-return.
  • You consent to the processing of relevant booking, delivery, inspection, and payment records for rental administration, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, and lawful recovery purposes, subject to LENBRIT's privacy policy and applicable law.

These terms are subject to applicable Pakistani law and do not exclude any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
